H.E.M Gabriel DANSOU LOKOSSOU took up his duties as Executive Secretary of APPA on June 29th 2009, that should been going on three years of term of office. He has been elected by the Council of Ministers that occurred on March 28th 2009 in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo.

It was presided over by H.E. René ISEKEMANGA NKEKA, Minister of Hydrocarbons of the Democratic Republic of Congo, current APPA President and attended by H.E. Barthélemy Dahoga KASSA, Minister of Petroleum and Mining Research of Benin, H.E. Pierre OBA, Minister of Mining, Mining Industries and Geology of the Republic of Congo as well as other high official guests.

The African Petroleum Producer Association (APPA) seized this opportunity to reiterate its commitment and dedication towards its objectives, aiming at enhancing cooperation with all international organisations in matters of common interest.
